We are looking for you to support our team in Sofia as a (Senior) Mechanical Project Engineer – Group Engineering (m/f/d) Your Tasks Being part of Aurubis’ Group Engineering Organization (GEO) you will be deployed to strategic projects supporting the respective basic and detailed engineering phase and manage projects in a legally secure manner regarding time, costs and quality. You are responsible for the (basic and detailed) equipment layout and design including alignment with relevant stakeholders. You optimize the layout and design with regards to process security as well as easiness of operations and maintenance. You support project procurement in category management, review supplier offers (incl. drawings) critically, optimize RFx documents and take care of claim management. You exchange with suppliers to identify the best possible solution for the strategic project. You monitor all construction work and review project execution critically in preparation of the commissioning phase. You tackle disruptions in your ​​responsibility area with the aim of sustainably reducing disruption rates. You ensure operational instructions and regulations, e.g. for occupational safety and environmental protection and the Aurubis Operation System (AOS). Изисквания и умения

You have successfully completed a Master’s degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering or a comparable field. You have at least 5-7 years of practical experience in related engineering/technology professions and work experience as a project engineer or sub-project manager of major CapEx projects (>10 Mio. EUR), ideally in an international engineering environment. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of chemical or metallurgical production processes and requirements. Your English is business fluent. Excellent language skills in German or Dutch would be beneficial. As an excellent communicator, you are able to deliver presentations routinely to relevant stakeholders and external partners. You can trust in your professional experience with relevant software tools (e.g. MS 365 incl. MS Project, simulation software, ERP software). You possess proven problem-solving skills and a high level of independency (in planning, organization, execution and controlling). You have the ability to make operative trade-off decisions to accomplish project objectives under consideration of the overall Aurubis strategy in the decision-making process. You can work under tight deadlines and high pressure while sustaining professional behavior. You are open for constructive feedback as well as willing for self-development. You have strong teamwork skills and interest in new tasks and challenges as well as intercultural empathy. Willingness to travel and flexibility for (partially) international deployments to a respective project location round off your profile.
